Exam description

This exam tests your ability to demonstrate the technical essentials of networking, storage, servers and storage area networks along with principles of backup, data protection, the HP Storage portfolio and converged storage concepts. Furthermore, it tests your understanding of the convergence of the previously siloed IT infrastructure domains and that you understand the importance of the holistic approach to IT.

Ideal candidate for this exam

Presales or solution architects who have a minimum of six (6) months of experience in storage technologies and want to identify and define technical requirements and then design commercial storage solutions to meet those needs. Presales or solution architects working in a channel partner organization that desires to attain or maintain Silver Storage Specialist in the HP PartnerOne program in order to increase its sales of HP storage solutions primarily to SMB customers.
