Advice to help you take this exam

This exam assesses whether you have the knowledge and skills that an IDOL administrator requires on the job. You may also need to use exhibits to complete the test items successfully.
Take the time to read the entire question and consider all of the options carefully before you answer. If the question indicates that it features an exhibit, study the exhibit and reread the question. Make sure to select the answer that correctly responds to the question that is asked, not simply an answer that includes some correct information.

This exam validates that you can successfully perform the following:

A fundamental understanding of the HP IDOL Server architecture and correct identification of installed components.

Understanding of HP IDOL configuration settings for effective and efficient HP IDOL deployments and solutions.

Understanding of data aggregation and indexing from a repository into HP IDOL Server.

Recognition of the appropriate administrative tasks for HP IDOL Server.

Effective interaction with HP IDOL Server using action commands.

Utilization of HP IDOL Server functionality.
